The messages you already get, turned into orders

You connect WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook from the panel and your shop moves into the conversation: a menu of buttons with the order, past orders, the opening days and the shop's details. Nobody has to leave the chat.

  • WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook
  • Several accounts at once
  • WhatsApp from the Basic plan
The chat menu

Five buttons, and none of them has to be typed

When you connect an account, TalkToCart leaves your shop's menu installed in it. The customer opens it from the chat itself and doesn't have to guess any magic word: they tap.

  • Last order · See my orders · Start an order · Opening hours · Shop details
  • Start an order sends back the link to your shop, good for one hour
  • On WhatsApp the menu travels as a drop-down list instead of fixed buttons: the same thing for the customer, a different path underneath
  • The menu is written in Spanish for everyone, including customers who write to you in English
Automations

Answering the usual questions without being there

An automation is a simple rule: when a private message arrives containing a word, reply with this. It is not an assistant that understands what it is being asked, and that is precisely why you know exactly what it will say.

  • By a word contained in the message: "menu", "opening", "where are you"
  • A different reply just for someone writing to you for the first time
  • How many fit: none on the free plan, two on Basic and eight on Pro
  • Not on comments under a post yet: the option is in the panel, switched off
Catalogue

Your products, in the Meta shops too

What you have in TalkToCart can be sent to the catalogue of your Facebook page or your Instagram account, and whatever you already have over there can be pulled in here. The catalogue stays yours in both places.

  • Send the products you pick, or the whole catalogue
  • Import whatever you already have in a Meta catalogue
  • One shop can have several accounts connected at the same time
What you need

A business account and five minutes

They are connected from the panel, through Meta's usual authorisation. Instagram and Facebook work on every plan; WhatsApp needs a WhatsApp Business account and a paid plan.

  • Each connected account takes a slot in your plan, and shares it with Stripe: one on free, four on Basic and eight on Pro
  • Instagram and Facebook, on every plan
  • WhatsApp, from the Basic plan
  • Connecting WhatsApp registers that number on Meta's API and it stops working in the phone app: if you want to keep it, connect a different number
Straight answers

What people ask before connecting an account

Which networks can be connected?

WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook. Those are the three a counter business actually gets messages on; there is no hidden fourth.

Do I need a paid plan?

Not for Instagram and Facebook. For WhatsApp, yes: it starts at the Basic plan. The free plan allows one connected account.

Does the customer have to word things correctly to be understood?

They don't need to: the normal path is tapping the menu buttons. If they type free text, the message lands in your inbox and you answer it; nothing tries to interpret it.

Do I lose the WhatsApp app on my phone?

With the number you connect, yes: registering it on Meta's API is exactly when it stops working in the app. That is why the usual move is to connect a different number and leave the everyday one where it is.

Are the contacts mine?

Yes. The contact list and its order history stay with you, and the catalogue can be sent to your Facebook and Instagram shops or brought back.

Can I connect two Instagram accounts?

Yes, as long as your plan has connections left. Messages from all of them land in the same inbox.

Connect one account and see what happens on Friday

The free plan already comes with one connection, forty products and the whole shop.
