Your online shop

Your whole menu at one address you can stick on the door

TalkToCart gives you a page of your own at yourshop.talktocart.com with your products, their photos, their extras and their VAT. It opens from a poster, a sticker or your Instagram bio, and your customer orders without signing up anywhere.

  • Free forever up to 40 products
  • No card needed
  • Your customer never signs up
The menu

Categories, photos and extras with their own price

Every product carries its photo, its description and whatever extras you want to charge for separately: double cheese, large size, no onion. The price is stored with its VAT rate, and you decide whether it shows tax included or not.

  • One VAT rate per product, and prices shown with or without tax included
  • Extras with a price of their own, added to the order total
  • Stock per product: when something runs out you set it to zero and it can no longer be ordered
  • 40 products on the free plan; from Basic on, no limit
  • Today only physical products can be created: the appointment and subscription types are in the panel, but switched off
The order

Pickup or delivery, no account and no app

The customer opens the link, picks and finishes. The basket only asks for what you actually need in order to serve them: there is no account to create and no app to install.

  • Pickup with your address on the map, home delivery, or both
  • Delivery is limited by a radius in kilometres or by a list of countries; several countries on Pro and Custom
  • Always the name; phone and email only if you mark them. You can also ask for neither
  • Products you mark as recommended are shown before the order is closed
Opening hours

Always open, or tied to your hours

By default the shop takes orders at any hour, even when the place is closed, because an order for tomorrow is still an order. If you would rather do the opposite, tie it to your hours: outside them it shows the products but does not let anyone order.

  • The days of the week you open
  • One time range per day, in your own time zone
  • Closing days marked on the calendar, which repeat every year
  • No split shifts yet: if you tie the shop to your hours, today it understands a single time range per day
Facebook and Instagram

The same catalogue, also in the Meta shops

The products you already have in TalkToCart can be sent to the catalogue of your Facebook page or your Instagram account. And if the catalogue already exists over there, it can be pulled in here instead of typing it twice.

  • Send the products you pick, or the whole catalogue at once
  • Import into TalkToCart whatever you already have in a Meta catalogue
  • Connected accounts: one on the free plan, four on Basic and eight on Pro
Straight answers

What people ask before opening the shop

Does my customer have to sign up?

No. They open the link, pick and order. They are asked for a name so you can call them when it is ready, and for a phone or email only if you have marked those as required.

Can I use my own domain?

Not today: the address is always yourshop.talktocart.com. What you can do is link to it from your website, your Instagram bio or a poster in the shop.

How many products fit in the free plan?

Forty, and it does not expire. From the Basic plan on there is no cap on products.

What if I sell outside my own town?

You can limit delivery to a radius in kilometres around the shop, or to a list of countries. Several countries at once only on Pro and Custom. The shop charges in the currency you set; euros by default.

How is VAT handled?

Each product keeps its own rate, and you choose whether the price shown includes it. When the order is paid, that rate travels to Stripe as the order's tax rate and appears on the invoice.

Can I run two places?

Yes. The Pro plan covers up to five shops under the same owner, each with its own menu, address and orders.
